I have been a patient of Dr. Dzwonczyk since Feb. of 2001 and have received excellent care from him, however, his scheduling staff is terrible and are not "people friendly" at all. I am in the process of changing cardiololgists now because of the ignorant treatment given me by the scheduling staff. Having a great doctor is fine, but not being able to get to see him because you can't get a timely appointment is not so fine! I was told "if you have a problem, go to the emergency room at the hospital" - you can't see the doctor for at least 6 weeks! Now, I know enough to go to the emergency room if I have a MAJOR problem, but, knowing my own body like I do, all I really needed was to see the doctor and schedule a stress test and then a heart cath. which was finally done and proved me right, having a blockage in an artery. I suppose all 10 or so doctors in the group are just to busy to oversee the office staff and their total lack of regard for the patients they SERVE. It's too bad I am forced to seek other heart doctors, however, I am not about to put up with this kind of treatment from any doctor's office staff, not to mention the danger of waiting so long for a heart related matter. I guess the schedulers lack of any consideration for their patients will just continue until enough people complain or just go somewhere else. Maybe they don't realize they are dealing with serious life threatening issues in heart problems---it isn't like you call for an appointment because you have a HANGNAIL or some other non-serious issue. Too bad it has to be this way, but I seriously doubt anything will change because of this review. Certain individuals need to be thrown right out of their jobs at this place.
